"So the holidays are over and the kids are back to their uniforms and the ways of school life. That doesn’t mean its all doom and gloom! Here on 106.7FM we’re having a Back To School party at the end of the month, so long as that rain doesn’t turn too heavy.”
Sports Halls U.Med’s countless sports halls are spread over two floors. The first floor has a well kept basketball court, fully capable of holding the university’s own team games, and two other courts specially designed to be adaptable to whatever sports are to be played. The second floor focuses on gymnastics and acrobatics with it halls aimed to aid the training of students and non-students alike.

Aquatics Centre The large extension off the main sports building looks more like a holiday park than a learning facility. All that’s missing are the water slides. There are two pools that are constantly in use whether for swim training and practise or aquatic exercises, or teaching primary school kids how to swim in the evenings. It also has a sauna and a steam room.

Gymnasium The gym is fully and heavily equipped with the latest state-of-the-art machines and facilities. It’s open for researchers and gym memberships alike. It even has a juice and coffee bar in the middle, and takes up most of the third floor. The rest of it has smaller research rooms used to test heart rates, strength and stamina or willing subjects.

Outdoor Sports Track and field, football, tennis… they’re all here, on the vast expanse of purpose built campus. With fine weather for such a large portion of the year the outdoor courts get used more often than the indoor ones. Their fenced perimeters back onto the grassy cliff tops that border the Mediterranean Sea.
